Albany
Visitors
Center
, Historic Albany Foundation and
Historic Cherry Hill are pleased to inform you that the Council of Albany
Neighborhood Associations has been selected to receive a “Sense of Place”
award at the 9th Annual Albany History Fair on May 4.
The City and
County
of
Albany
are replete with fascinating historical
structures, people and events, and the Council’s role in preserving and making
city neighborhoods livable will be honored at the 6th Annual “Sense
of Place” awards ceremony during the fair.
The History Fair
will be held from Noon-4 p.m. at the
Albany
Visitors
Center
, and the awards ceremony will begin at
3:45 p.m.
Immediately
following the fair, there will be a wine and cheese reception for awardees,
honorary committee members, history fair exhibitors, presenters and volunteers.
