VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION NUMBERS ARE ETCHED ONTO VEHICLE WINDOW AS A MEANS OF THEFT PREVENTION.

SPECIAL DECALS ARE PUT ON THE FRONT AND REAR WINDOWS OF YOUR CAR AND ALLOW POLICE STATEWIDE TO WATCH YOUR CAR BETWEEN 1 - 5 A.M.

VIN ETCHING involves etching the vehicle identification number (VIN) onto all windows of the vehicle.  This deters professional auto thieves that steal your car to chop for parts, or to change the VIN for retitling and resale.

The Watch Your Car Program is a national vehicle theft prevention program that provides for the placement of special decals on your car.  These decals allow the police to STOP your vehicle between the hours of 1 A.M. - 5 A.M. and ensure the driver is in legitimate possession of the vehicle.  THIS IS A GREAT WAY TO HAVE THE POLICE WATCH YOUR CAR DURING NIGHTTIME HOURS.
