5. 8:00 PM Charter Revision- for ever and ever until they get it right- On November 3 we will vote yes or no on the proposed charter. Whether they support it or they oppose it, those who have talked about this charter agree that it is not perfect. Whether it passes or is defeated on November 3, what will CANA do to see that the process that finally began with this charter commission continues until Albany has a modern charter that will take us proudly into the 21st century?

FUTURE MEETINGS:

DEC. 2 City budget. The city’s budget will not be available by November 4, so the Budget Director will be unable to address our meeting. We will have copies of the budget for the December meeting and will discuss it then.
